KLA-Tencor has an opening for a System Engineer for our Electronbeam (EBeam) Division. EBeam designs and manufactures Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) wafer inspection and review equipment.
Based in Chennai, India, the System Engineer will be responsible for:
- Work with an engineering team on new electron-beam review products for the semiconductor equipment market.
- Activities will include simulation, modeling, characterization, integration and development of the designs.
- Work with multi-disciplinary to integrate and test the various sub-systems.
- Should be able to gain a detailed functional understanding of the entire product.
Qualifications/Education Desired:
- Candidate should have at least a Master degree in engineering or the physical sciences, Physics major is preferred.
- Ph.D degree is also preferred.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Hands-on experiences in machine control and/or Scientific data analysis is highly desired.
- Knowledge of optical systems and/or vacuum instrumentation is desired,
- Knowledge of electron beam systems such as electron microscopes is preferred.
