Position: Associate Lead - Software Automation Engineer in Testing (Job opening ID: #110779)

Job Description:
- Responsibilities include full participation in the software development life cycle to establish test scenarios for proving the functionality and robustness of the software created.
- Responsible for all test automation activities - planning, development and sustenance of test automation suites.
- Work with SW developers closely to understand software requirements and map them to test automation needs.
- Review applicable test specifications, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Performs or co-ordinates verification of software requirement traceability, and testability.
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for test automation.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable quality standards.
- Ensures that test automation documentations are compliant with requirements.
- Develops and executes software test plans (both manual and automated testing). Analysis and writes test standards and procedures.
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
- Should be willing to travel to customer sites as well as work during day and graveyard shift on a rotational basis.
Qualifications/Education:
- BE/BS/BTech degree with a at least 4 + years of SW Testing experience in test automation
- Experience in developing or improving automation test frameworks
- Experience with large software systems /tool application are preferred.
- Experience with working on Virtual test environments prefered.
