This role requires a team player who is well versed in the large scale systems software development, organized, detail oriented and able to deliver results on-time and within budget.

Software Systems Architect's Roles and Responsibilities:

• Leads design teams to resolve complex problems for released systems, typically assigned issues with high customer visibility and impact on the success of the product.
• Provides thought leadership regarding system design, architecture, and integration. Mentors and leads project teams in the appropriate use of technology.
• Works effectively with cross functional groups to define the software requirements of complex systems and major products.
• Contributes to the next generation technical road-map and development, is responsible for evaluation and implementation of the latest available technologies, develops concepts and designs for the next generation system.
• Responsible for evaluation and implementation of the latest available technologies by providing detailed analysis and trade-offs for the various solutions, and selecting the best available solution to implement.
• Provides significant input to the top level software specifications broken down into interfaces, while considering reliability, performance, and fault handling for optimum hardware/software integration.
• Initiates and drives complex team-oriented efforts that affect architectural, and customer-level issues. Effectively Communicates to all levels of the division and with the various inter-divisional engineering groups.
• Serves as owner in certain areas of software performance on complex systems, plans and leads experiments that are part of feasibility studies required to make major software architecture decisions on complex products.
• Technical Leadership role, needs to Influence decision making without hierarchical reporting.
• Designs Software for testability, which enables seamless creation of automated test suites.
• Significant experience as SW Architect in complex product environment.
• Hands-On knowledge in OOD, OOP, COM, Visual C++, C#, Dot.Net .
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks, trade-off analysis, architectural modeling .
• Experience in SW/HW systems integration.
• Educational qualification - BE/BTech/MS/MCA/MTech/Phd.

Desired Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience with specialization in providing technical leadership in large scale SW systems development.

Preferred:

• Experience in EDA, Semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience in big data and NoSql technologies
